SAIB among the winning companies of Bank Intesa San Paolo

On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at the Franco Parenti Theatre in Milan, a ceremony was held to celebrate the “Imprese Vincenti” (Winning Enterprises) project, with which Intesa Sanpaolo, in collaboration with Bain&Company, Elite and Gambero Rosso, chose to celebrate the vitality, enthusiasm and willingness to gamble of the best Italian SMEs. The awards were given to companies that have been able to grow and consolidate their position on the market thanks to a set of advanced strategies in terms of sustainability, internationalization, innovation, enhancement of skills and talents of their human capital. Among these, SAIB, selected both for its economic and financial performance over the last three years and for its propensity for eco-sustainability. SAIB, firmly in the hands of the same family group for over 50 years and now led by the third generation, with over two hundred employees and a turnover of 123 million, is in fact a virtuous example of circular economy, as it recycles and recovers 500,000 tons of waste wood per year from separate collection, transforming them through a complex production process into panels for the furniture industry.
